Course Outline

The word ‘Physics’ on your application form for a job or a place at college or university immediately says important things about you. You are logical, you can deal with practical things, you can work with other people to solve problems, you can write clear explanations and you can understand when things are explained to you. For any employer these things are essential.

Why choose Physics?
Physics has no limits – from the quantum phenomena which govern the world of the unimaginably small to the laws of gravity and the mysteries of dark matter – physics has no boundaries about the questions which can be asked concerning how and why things are the way they are. If you are interested in how the universe works at the most fundamental levels or want to know how the modern world came about and what keeps it running – physics is the subject for you.
