How to apply
Application process
The deadline for applications for admission to IC6 is the Friday 27th January 2012. Applications will be accepted after this date but please note that IC6 courses fill up very quickly and last year a number of late applicants were disappointed. If you want to secure your place you will need to apply before the deadline.
Applicants from IC6 Partner Schools
Priority will be given to those students who attend IC6 partner schools. Applicants from IC6 partner schools will be supported through the application process by their school.
Non-IC6 Partner School Applicants
IC6 has a commitment to offer places to students from IC6 partner schools. This means that the places we can offer to students from other schools are restricted and competition is high. In order to help us to allocate these places fairly, we have a set of criteria against which we judge applications. These are:
• students who are hardworking and enthusiastic as demonstrated by their reference and/or predicted grades
• date of application; (applications received after Friday 27 January 2012 are much less likely to be successful)
• students with significant sporting or other extra-curricular achievements which demonstrate commitment;
* students who wish to study subjects which are often under-subscribed.
Application forms can be obtained in the following ways:
* telephone the IC6 admission team on 020 7017 3040 requesting an IC6 prospectus with application form which will then be sent to you in the post
* download an application form
When you have read the prospectus and completed the tear-out application form at the back of the prospectus you can return it in one of the following ways:
